Questions about Modifications?

Does changing my recipe change my FDA label and/or my shelf life expiration dates?

Yes and No. For the FDA label, our food scientist can inform you if you will need to redo your nutritional label or, based on the modification ingredient(s), no changes will be needed or can be calculated. Shelf life expiration date will either increase or decrease based on the modification done to your recipe. It is always recommended to repeat the shelf life study, but our experts can help you make that decision once the final new recipe is completed.

What about other nutritional facts on my label. Can those be changed to make my product more health conscience?

Yes, most of the time nutritional values can be changed with a recipe modification. Our team of experts can assist you with changes to target your client base.
