The FDA started (in 2018) requiring restaurant chains, including franchises and other food establishment with 20 or more locations to provide nutritional facts for all of their food items. This was true for all establishments that food was served to be consumed on their location or to be eaten soon afterwards.

In order to satisfy these new laws, every location must display and/or provide to the customer the nutritional information for all of their menu items. This is limited to regular food and beverage items only.  They must state clearly that nutritional information is available upon request.

Today’s consumers are in the growing category of wanting nutritional facts information. Even if your business has less than 20 locations, a growing number of businesses are having nutritional facts available to their customers as a way of being transparent and client focused. The National Restaurant Association has stated that the trend now is to have nutritional facts information for all restaurants no matter what the size.

Ship your samples and form

You will need to ship 4oz of finished product to our lab.
FedEx or UPS / 1 or 2 day air
No glass containers, please.
If refrigerated, pack with cold packs.
Include your completed Lab Information Form.

We'll email your results

If you have chosen to purchase the label option, you’ll receive a lab report showing your results.
Your nutrition facts labels will be emailed to you in a file that you can download and print or incorporate them into your food label
